Getting around Berlin is easy between walking and public transportation. You know the sites to see, Berlin wall, Jewish-Holocaust Memorial, Brandenburg gate, Reichstag, East Berlin (of course), Check-Point Charlie, boat tour around the city, numerous churches, and just spending time learning about this important place in history and lessons learned. Berlin is an amazing city! It’s such a quirky place and isn’t really like anywhere we have been before in Europe. It feels like a really cultured, individual and expressive city and has a great vibe about it. It is absolutely massive city though & to see various places you do need to use transport BUT it’s pretty simple and google maps does it all for you! Transport is way better than UK public transport but you will need it! We didn’t visit too many of the museums as we were happy walking around seeing the city. There’s so much going on particularly at the weekends. Lots of random little places with events on or music on the streets & the flea markets too! The flea markets were HUGE and there is so many of them on a Sunday! The food was incredible too & to our surprise there was lots of vegan and vegetarian options! We were spoilt for choice by all of the food places! Great vibe at the food places too as lots of outdoor seating!
